Background
COS Biblioteksgatan has existed for many years on this address, and in 2021 their design team came up with a vision to update the concept at COS.
Assignment
The assignment was to rebuild the entire store based on COS’s new design concept, the project included high quality finishes and also some structural work such as two new elevators, a new staircase and an airlock for a better climate in the store.
Challenges
The challenge in this project was above all the location, logistics and time. COS wanted to get a lot done in a relatively short time. At the same time as there was an extensive renovation that required permission from the State Building Office. Getting a design to fit the premises and be ready on time was a challenge.
Solution
A lot of planning and good cooperation with both customer, architect and subcontractors meant that we succeeded in the task.
Result
COS got a “new” store at an old address. Despite some obstacles along the way, the team managed to deliver both on time and meet the architect’s high demands on their new design.
