Background
Hemtex is an established retailer in home textiles and interior décor. When Mylly Shopping Centre in Turku expanded, the goal was to create a larger, more modern, and more inviting store environment.
The new store would become the largest Hemtex store in Finland, offering a complete product range and an enhanced customer experience.
Assignment
Partega was responsible for the entire store fit-out in connection with Hemtex’s relocation to larger premises of approximately 670 square metres. The project included demolition work, flooring installation, lighting, painting, security systems, interior fit-out, and coordination with the property owner and subcontractors. The total construction period was 16 weeks.
Challenge & Solution
As the project was carried out in Finland, it placed high demands on communication, coordination, and local procurement. Through clear communication and close collaboration between all parties involved, the project was completed efficiently and according to plan.
Result
The result was a modern and welcoming store where Hemtex can now offer customers its full product range in the largest Hemtex store in Finland.
Development
The project has created better conditions for Hemtex’s continued growth and strengthened the customer experience at Mylly Shopping Centre. The client is highly satisfied with both the final result and the collaboration throughout the project.
